Well I helped Phyrefly get his Empress Hairpin today! The emp hairpin is the same as the emperor hairpin just a diff color! We beat a 75 RNG who had been hunting it for several hours!

So if anyone else wants it, let me know the thing drops very easily. Much easier then the WHM AF weapon that me an Phyrefly tried to duo right after we got the hairpin, it pwnd us bad, the sad thing is I had reraise, and it is supposed to go away at 4:00 but it did not and pwnd me twice. It was very sad and funny at the same time....

I've seen Valkrum Emperor a couple of times and killed him once, but no drop. If anyone has one they can sell me for around 150k that'd be cool. I know it's unlikely though.

Just an FYI on that item... the RARE/EX one drops from the Valkurm Emperor, the RARE (Which is better in my opinion, since you can store it on mule characters) is the better, but harder to get since it is a BCNM drop... Not sure which one, that would have to be looked up. It is also the better one to get, since when you find the time where you don't need it anymore... you can sell it off for craploads of gil.

You won't be dropping this item; I use it on my 75 NIN and my 55 THF, sometimes on my 42 WHM. So unless you're getting it to sell it, the Empress is better to get, just harder. However, if you're planning on leveling a job to 75 that needs it and then never playing that job again (unlikely), sure get the Emperor to resell it.
